My first Yoga blog

ree

First of all I want to have a place to organize and maintain everything about my Totalmente Yoga online project. The main thing is that it is a challenge for me as a practitioner and as a Yoga instructor. I would like to make a collection of the most important things I have learned and that I can therefore share with whoever passes through these pages.

There are many Yoga pages, many styles, many levels, but the only relevant thing for each one is that one likes it and feels good! Then come the benefits but everything is little by little and without expectations. Each instructor interprets yoga in a personal way, but there are huge differences between the yoga that was born 2,500 years ago in ancient India and many of the versions we see today. I try to copy the most genuine practice possible, leaving aside unnecessary modernizations.

One of the most important points for me is that Yoga is a healthy way of living and the more we associate it with an obligation, the less we will like it and the more difficult it will seem to us. It is not an Olympic sport. The main thing is to move the body in ways that it has never moved or in ways that will be healthy, always listening to your body and stretching your abilities, but not exceeding them!

Each yoga pose is a process in itself. The body wants to move in different positions, but it can't be done overnight. All very calmly and without racing. We will arrive at the same place, but more satisfied if our Yoga practice begins with short and gentle but constant sessions. Because that's the key for us to continue practicing and feeling like we've done something productive and healthy.

So, we are here to do something positive, which at the same time improves you as a person and contributes to your health.... that there is no obligation of routines or challenges and that above all we are to enjoy that little time that we are dedicating to the body and mind.
